Travel back in time to old cottages and learn about the life and customs of their inhabitants. The Ethnographic Museum in Krakow offers you interestingly displayed rich ethnographic collections and fun activities for children!

What will we see at the Ethnographic Museum in Krakow?
The museum's exhibition spans 3 floors and is really rich! On the ground floor, we enter reconstructed interiors of village cottages, a school, and a fulling mill:

The first floor features a collection of exhibits related to different life stages, traditional crafts, and rituals. The second floor showcases folk art (painting, sculpture, paper cutouts).

Ethnographic Museum - attractions for children
Although most of the exhibition is arranged in a fairly standard style, the youngest visitors will find many interesting spots here.
When visiting the museum with children, it's worth using one of the two "ethno-trails," which are guides through the museum specially designed for the youngest visitors (available for a symbolic fee at the museum ticket office). Using them, we will look for special markings in the exhibition:

Children also really enjoy the interactive room dedicated to traditions related to welcoming spring and Easter traditions:

We highly recommend combining a visit to the Ethnographic Museum in Krakow with participating in family activities and workshops, which have a particularly rich offer here!
