There are few places that can interest both a child and a teenager! In the Dream World Park, there are so many different attractions that everyone, regardless of age, will find something for themselves! The park is a great option for a family trip (including grandparents!) and for school groups for an educational outdoor lesson. By purchasing a "Dream World" ticket, we get all-day access to two theme parks - the Fairy Fortress and the Miniature Park, which also has an amusement park. We can move freely between the parks.
- a full day of attractions, tickets can be purchased on the website dream world ticket purchase
- in the Miniature Park, the paths are paved - suitable for strollers and wheelchairs; in the Fairy Fortress, the paths are rocky and gravelly, difficult for strollers
- for younger children the Fairy Fortress and the Dragon Land within it might be more suitable; older kids, teenagers, and seniors will probably want to spend more time in the Miniature Park with the amusement park.
- getting there is best by car, the train station in Inwałd is about 3 km away, which is a half-hour walk along a street with sidewalks and quieter country roads
Fairy Fortress
We enter a "medieval" castle where we can look into various rooms, walk along the castle walls, and climb the towers. The castle has an armory where you can try to lift old swords (they were really heavy!), peek into the torture chamber, and see what medieval toilets looked like. In the basement, you can join a laser game. There are also shows and animations for children in the fortress.
- in the fortress, there is a tavern and eatery and a toilet (also one that we can actually use ;)
As it used to be in castles - right under its walls were the craftsmen's huts. Entering each hut, we learn about different medieval professions: in the potter's hut, we can mold clay, at the weaver's, we learn how fabrics were made. We liked the blacksmith's the most, where you had to blow a big bellows onto a red-hot horseshoe. The sound of a hammer hitting hot metal in the blacksmith's workshop was a characteristic sound of the medieval era. The blacksmith forged swords, horseshoes for horses - today, it's a nearly extinct profession.
Dragon Lands
Dragons are majestic and mysterious creatures that have fascinated us for centuries, appearing in mythology, legends, and stories. So what would a castle be without its dragon, or rather dragons? Under the fortress, there is a whole dragon gang! We pass through the cave of the roaring and smoking Ryczek and meet other dragons and their stories. There is also a smoking witch's cauldron!
You can climb on some dragons and enter dragon eggs. In the Dragon Lands, you'll find extensive activity paths: walking on wooden bridges, ropes, etc. If you like such challenges, you will surely spend more time here!
We can rest on hammocks and deck chairs - under a tent spread over them, we find plenty of shade.
One of the attractions of the Dragon Lands is also training in archery skills - the right stance, string tension... Will you manage to hit the center of the straw target?
We also liked the Dragon Rafts, on which we can float on a small pond, pushing off the bottom with a long pole. Right by the pond, you can meet grazing goats.
Miniature Park with amusement park
Have you ever imagined that you could travel the whole world in one day? From the Eiffel Tower, through the Great Wall of China, to the Colosseum and Polish monuments. We can walk along the mini-city route, admiring replicas of buildings and learning their history. The Miniature Park is a place where we spent the most time with our teenager!
The miniature complex is divided into famous Polish monuments, where we find, among others, Wawel, Krakow's Cloth Hall, the Castle on Pieskowa Skała with Hercules' Club, and a miniature of the Giewont massif - the most famous mountain in Poland, with a characteristic cross on its peak.
Among the world monuments, we will see here the famous Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The miniatures, made with attention to detail, will take us back to places we have been or would like to visit.
Miniatures are also a great lesson in history and geography in the field!
In the Miniature Park, we will also find many other attractions! Those who are not afraid of moments of horror can dare to look into Tutankhamun's tomb - we pass through the dark labyrinth of the tomb, where "something scary" lurks everywhere. We meet mummies wrapped in bandages, sarcophagi, spiders, and other horrors! For thrill-seekers, there is also a 5D cinema, where screenings take place every half hour.
The brave can enter the "green maze" - it's a really large maze, whose walls are made of hedges. Oh, you can get tangled up here for a very long time! Above the maze, there is a wooden platform from which observers can help us get out of the green corridors.
Wild River
This is one of the additional attractions located in the Miniature Park, and it is also an extra charge. The Wild River is a raft ride that swirls and meanders through the bends of an artificial stream. As we ride, or rather float to the top, we can see how beautifully the Miniature Park is located - surrounded by wooded hills.
