Brzanka is one of the highest peaks of the Ciężkowice Foothills, located about 30 kilometers from Tarnów near Tuchów. It's an ideal place for hiking, relaxation, and connecting with nature. Here you will find:
- a lookout tower with free parking nearby
- a shelter with a garden and playground for children near the tower
- many easy hiking trails
- a mountain hut open from Friday to Sunday
Lookout Tower in Jodłówka Tuchowska
The lookout tower on Brzanka is located at the top of the mountain with the same name, which rises to a height of 534 meters above sea level. The tower offers amazing views of the surrounding hills and valleys. In good weather, you can see the Low Beskids, the Tatra Mountains, and even the Bieszczady Mountains. The tower is about 18 meters high and is easily accessible from nearby hiking trails.
Mountain Hut
Near the lookout tower, there is the PTTK shelter on Brzanka, which is an ideal place to rest after a hike. The shelter offers accommodation and warm meals. There is a large grill area and a playground for children. It is a great place for hikers, cyclists, and families with children.
Access and Parking
You can drive right up to the lookout tower - there is a free parking lot of considerable size.

A wide forest road runs along the ridge of the Brzanka range, which is suitable for a walk with a stroller with inflatable wheels. Walking straight ahead, you reach scenic meadows and picturesque houses, including a private property built in the shape of a castle.
Trail from the Lookout Tower to Ostry Kamień
For those who enjoy hiking and forest walks, we recommend walking from the lookout tower to Ostry Kamień - a small but interesting sandstone rock formation. The walk itself is a picturesque forest path in the shade of trees.
