The Wiatrówki Observation Tower in Moszczenica near Gorlice was built in 2023. It offers beautiful views of the Ciężkowickie and Rożnowskie Foothills, the Sądecki Beskid, the Niski Beskid, the Gorce Mountains, and even the distant Bieszczady Mountains. On a clear day, you can also see the Tatra Mountains.

The Wiatrówki Observation Tower has two parts: a lower, wide platform where you can have a picnic (the views are nice here too, but not as magical as from the top of the tower) and the main observation tower.


How to Get to the Wiatrówki Tower in Moszczenica?
Getting there is easy - you can drive almost right up to the tower, with only about 50 meters to walk from a small parking area for a few cars. The observation tower is not very crowded, especially outside of holidays and during the week, so parking should not be a problem.
The easiest way is to enter the center of Moszczenica near Gorlice into your navigation system, then follow the signs to the Wiatrówki summit with the observation tower. The access road is narrow but has been recently renovated.

- People afraid of heights should be fine because the stairs and upper platform are surrounded by a net.
- A big advantage is that you can park your car close to the tower, making it a great spot to watch the sunrise or sunset without needing to hike for several kilometers and spend hours walking.

You can combine a trip to the Wiatrówki Tower with visiting nearby attractions, such as the Petrified City in Ciężkowice, the Devil's Rocks Reserve in Bukowiec, and the beautiful, historic World War I cemetery on Pustki Hill in Łużna.
