There is a parking lot in front of the park, but it can be difficult to find a spot during the peak season.

A wide path leads from the parking lot to the waterfall, which ends with a viewing platform. The waterfall is accessible for people with disabilities and families with small children (umbrella strollers can also pass through).

Szklarki Waterfall (German: Kochelfall) is the second highest waterfall in the Polish Karkonosze Mountains, after Kamieńczyk Waterfall. It is located at an altitude of 520 meters above sea level and has a height of 13.3 meters. Its waters cascade down, gradually narrowing and spiraling, creating an erosive basin. The waterfall and its surroundings are part of the Karkonosze National Park - entrance to the National Park is subject to a fee.

There is a shelter called 'Kochanówka' located near the waterfall, which is the only facility of its kind in Piechowice, close to the border with Szklarska Poręba.

Due to its location next to the E65 road (national road 3) near Szklarska Poręba, it is the most visited waterfall in the Karkonosze Mountains. The waterfall itself is situated slightly above the confluence of the Szklarka River with the Kamienne River, in a picturesque gorge surrounded by beautiful mixed forests.
