Patelnia viewpoint - what can you see?
From the meadow, which was still a farm field not long ago, you can see the opposite side of the Prądnik Valley and Okopy Hill. Archaeologists found traces of a medieval settlement and a fortress there. It was connected with Duke Konrad of Masovia and was called Wyszogród. It dates back to the early 13th century.
You can also clearly see the entrance to the Okopy Wielka Dolna Cave. At the end of the 19th century, prehistoric animal bones, pottery, and bone tools were found there. The most exciting discovery was a treasure: coins and silver from the 11th century!
