Nearest public transport stops: Plac Inwalidów and Czarnowiejska. A small park right next to Aleja Słowackiego. The park has shaded asphalt and gravel paths, a few interesting sculptures, and a large fountain (closer to Plac Inwalidów).

But the biggest attraction is the new PLAYGROUND - suitable for both the youngest children and older kids. Parents will find plenty of shade on hot days and many benches. It's a good idea to bring a change of clothes for your child because the water play structures are very popular! See for yourself:

Did you know that the park (actually under it) has old German air-raid shelters from the war? You can visit them during the Night of Museums or Open Doors Days of Krakow Museums, or by making a phone appointment. More information about the shelters can be found on the Rawelin Association's website Rawelin. Another attraction nearby is the historic locomotive and a sundial made from an original winding wheel from a coal mine shaft, located on the AGH campus (about a 10-minute walk along Czarnowiejska Street).
