Geosfera - Relaxation and Education
Although the park area is not large, about 8 hectares, it offers a pleasant place to relax and learn. Children can enjoy friendly dinosaurs and educational boards. In the sand on the beach near the pond, you can uncover a dinosaur skeleton. We especially liked the path that takes you through the prehistory of the Earth, where you can learn about its different periods and eras, and see how the arrangement of continents, seas, and oceans looked back then.
The Story of an Ancient Sea
Geosfera Park is located in a disused limestone quarry. Many fossils found during mining operations are displayed here. It's a journey back in time when most of Poland was underwater! One interesting feature is a section of the rippled seabed, called megaripple marks, and fragments of crinoids that covered the floor of the Triassic Sea. Crinoids were ancient marine invertebrates - echinoderms. They looked more like flowers than animals, with a slender stem that attached them to the substrate, a calyx, and arms surrounding the mouth opening.

Brine Graduation Tower, Playground, and Other Attractions
Children will surely enjoy the playground, where they can uncover a dinosaur skeleton. Nearby, there is a large gazebo for bonfires. One of the favorite relaxation spots in the park is the brine graduation tower.
Uroczysko Sodowa G贸ra
From the quarry floor, the park's paths lead us to the Uroczysko area. At the top, we reach an asphalt pedestrian and cycling trail and a viaduct with a viewpoint.
Sodowa G贸ra
Sodowa G贸ra is a hill with a height of 327 meters above sea level, composed of limestone rocks that were extracted in the nearby quarry in the past. A green trail leads us to Sodowa G贸ra through a forest road. The summit offers a vast, scenic meadow with an educational path, although slightly overgrown. Surrounding the area are picturesque fields and country lanes.
