Bagry Wielkie is one of the few bathing areas in Krakow. Here, you can safely swim, relax on the sandy beach, and engage in water sports.

There is plenty of greenery around, sunny meadows, but also lots of shade among the trees.

Unfortunately, on hot days, during the season and on weekends, it can get crowded...

Bagry - attractions

First and foremost: water and sand!

But also a vast park with numerous hammocks (between Kacza Street and the northern shore of the reservoir) - it is much quieter here than around the bathing area.

A neighborhood playground and gym are located right next to the beach.

You can also take a walk around the Bagry reservoir - a dirt path, sometimes narrow and steep - not suitable for strollers and bicycles.

At the WakePoint station (艁anowa Street 1), you can admire the acrobatics performed by daredevils on water skis and wakeboards (more information: wakepoint.pl)

How to get to Bagry?

Right next to the beach, there is the MPK Bagry bus stop (lines 127 and 427, both depart from the Podg贸rze SKA train stop).

Another good option is to travel to the Krak贸w P艂asz贸w PKP station, cross the viaduct over the tracks, and then follow the path along the reservoir (or the asphalt road of 呕o艂nierska Street).

Bagry - parking

A small parking lot is located right next to the beach and the MPK Bagry bus stop, on Koza Street. During the season, it can get even more crowded than the beach.

A larger parking lot is located right next to the viaduct (western shore), entrance from 呕o艂nierska Street. From there, you can reach the beach and the bathing area via a paved path along the reservoir (note - the path is narrow, steep in some places, not suitable for strollers and bicycles!) or via the asphalt road: 呕o艂nierska Street - M. Batki Street - 艁anowa Street.

Another, smaller parking lot can be found next to 艁anowa Street 1, next to the Trynitarzy church - the path to the bathing area and the beach is wide and comfortable, along the shore.
