Strzelecki Park is the most representative park in Tarn贸w. It has recently been renovated. Wide shaded alleys, beautiful flowers, and numerous benches encourage walking, and besides that, the park has a lot more to offer!
1. Jordanowski Garden.
Here, everyone will find something for themselves. Individual parts of the square are adapted to the age of children and youth. The youngest ones can enjoy a sandbox with a canopy, swings for parents with babies, and more. Older children and teenagers can find rope obstacle courses and climbing walls. Adults can exercise at the gym located in this part of the park. Hammocks await in the shade of trees, and in the nearby kiosk, you can order waffles or ice cream.
2. Pond, General J贸zef Bem Mausoleum, and Lion Fountain.
Strzelecki Park is the oldest park in Tarn贸w - it was established in 1866, and in 1912, it was enriched with a fountain featuring four lions and the goddess Hebe symbolizing youth. The pond, which has been in the park since the beginning, was originally dug for drainage purposes but didn't work well, so it was buried and in 1913, it was unearthed for decorative purposes. The mausoleum of one of the most distinguished Poles - General J贸zef Bem - is definitely the park's and the city's highlight:

3. Sensory Art Garden
This is the newest addition to the park. It was opened in 2020. It is designed in such a way that the growing plants not only appeal to the sense of sight but also to the other senses, such as touch, taste, and smell. Whether it succeeds, you will have to check for yourselves :).
