Badge in the Circle of Lackowa - a way to show your child the Low Beskids

Walking in the mountains is one of the most beautiful and exciting activities you can imagine. It's a great way to spend your free time, but it's also an amazing adventure and an endless source of inspiration. Therefore, when going to the mountains with a child, it's important to think about how to motivate them to enjoy mountain walks, so our passion doesn't have to be put on hold and the child will want to accompany us on our trips.

A great solution to the problem of motivating children was found by Siwejka agritourism, which created the "In the Circle of Lackowa" tourist badges. Siwejka is located in the Low Beskids, 20 km east of Krynica-Zdrój in the village of Ropki, where there are many hiking trails of varying difficulty. The shortest of them are loops of 3-6 km, so they are suitable even for a 4-year-old.

The availability of wonderful hiking areas and the need to find a way to motivate children (and adults) to walk in the mountains became the basis for creating the aforementioned badges. Over the years, the "In the Circle of Lackowa" badges have gained significant popularity, and over 500 people have earned them. The youngest achiever is only 3 years old!

The "In the Circle of Lackowa" badges were designed to make earning them as easy as possible. Minimum formalities, maximum joy and activity. Guests of Siwejka just need to tell where they went on trips and after meeting the requirements they receive a badge. Other achievers must fill out a form available on the website. The "IN THE CIRCLE OF LACKOWA" badge has four levels, which are achieved in order. These are the BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD and PLATINUM badges. To earn all the badges, you need to go on 20 trips in the western part of the Low Beskids with a total length of 200 km.
